Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark in the film industry. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas in search of an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles on local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. Even though she had small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. When she moved to New York, in 2001 she was offered her first role as an actor on All My Children. In the beginning of 2000, she appeared in small roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside a number of the famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. De La Garza received several nominations in the character's honor for her role, including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominations. She was awarded an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding performances on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. As Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory as well as being Italian by heritage. Her family was a conservative, religious family. Milano started her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her in an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen as one of only four girls. Milano is featured in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as the American premier of Jane Eyre.
